# Add a Home Page or a Page

The material that you create as the main item appears on the first page and is considered as your home page.

## **To add a home page or a page:**

<mark style="color:blue;">**Step 1:**</mark> Click <mark style="color:blue;">**My Community**</mark>**.**

<mark style="color:blue;">**Step 2:**</mark> Select the community in which you need to add a new page.

<mark style="color:blue;">**Step 3:**</mark> In the left column, click <mark style="color:blue;">**Add a new page**</mark>.

<mark style="color:blue;">**Step 4:**</mark> The home page or page window is displayed.

<mark style="color:blue;">**Step 5:**</mark> In the <mark style="color:blue;">**Title**</mark> box, type a title for your new home page or page.

<mark style="color:blue;">**Step 6:**</mark> This is a mandatory field.

<mark style="color:blue;">**Step 7:**</mark> In the Rich Text Editor, you can add text and import images that you need to display on the home page or page. You can also add template properties. The template properties allow you to make your page display dynamic information about the student or your campus.

<mark style="color:blue;">**Step 8:**</mark> For more information on template properties, see section View template properties.

<mark style="color:blue;">**Step 9:**</mark> Click <mark style="color:blue;">**Save**</mark>.

<mark style="color:blue;">**Step 10:**</mark> The new home page or page is added and is displayed in the left column.
