# Add a Hyperlink to a Folder (Student)

## Add a hyperlink to a folder

<mark style="color:blue;">**Step 1:**</mark> Click <mark style="color:blue;">**Documents**</mark> <mark style="color:blue;">></mark> <mark style="color:blue;">**Browse**</mark>.

<mark style="color:blue;">**Step 2:**</mark> In the bookshelf list, select a folder in which you need to add a hyperlink.

<mark style="color:blue;">**Step 3:**</mark> Click the <mark style="color:blue;">**Add a Hyperlink**</mark> tab.

<mark style="color:blue;">**Step 4:**</mark> In the <mark style="color:blue;">**Title to Display**</mark> box, type the title for the link.

<mark style="color:blue;">**Step 5:**</mark> This is a mandatory field.

<mark style="color:blue;">**Step 6:**</mark> In the <mark style="color:blue;">**Hyperlink URL**</mark> box, type the URL.

<mark style="color:blue;">**Step 7:**</mark> This is a mandatory field.

<mark style="color:blue;">**Step 8:**</mark> In the <mark style="color:blue;">**Description**</mark> box, type the description for the URL.

<mark style="color:blue;">**Step 9:**</mark> Click <mark style="color:blue;">**Create**</mark> and the new hyperlink is uploaded under the selected folder.
