# Delete a Section

##

You can delete an existing section from the NexPort Campus.

**To delete a section:**

1. Click **Administration** > **Manage Campus** > **Group Tools** > **Sections**.
2. The **Sections** page is displayed.

4. Click the ![](https://4166026515-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FWkUUsnoCFHCrXLAM3d7e%2Fuploads%2FII7I0Wi3KzMXa0QfeL4s%2Fdelete907e.png?alt=media\&token=0106e1a7-5a02-449d-9642-a688571ec271) icon, next to the section that you need to delete.
5. The **Delete Section** dialog box with the confirmation message “Are you sure you want to delete the section?” message.
6. Click **Delete**.
7. The selected section is deleted. You cannot delete sections in which the users have active enrollments.
