# Gradebook

Through the Gradebook you can view all the grade details of a student. It displays the names of all the students enrolled in a course and their individual scores in assignments. Each assignment can be assigned a status such as ‘Complete’ or ‘Incomplete’ or ‘Not Started’, ‘In Progress’, ‘Pass’ or ‘Fail’. You can also provide a supplemental assignment to the students.

* **Supplemental assignment:** They are in addition to the existing assignments. They provide extra credit to the assignments. The supplemental assignments are marked with ![](https://github.com/NexPort-Solutions/NexPort-Campus-Documentation/blob/gitbook/.gitbook/assets/Supplemental_Assignment.png) (Supplemental Assignment) icon.

From the **Instructing: <\<Section name>>** page you can view the Grade Reports that provides information on the performance of a student in a training plan or a section.

Through the Gradebook you can view statistical data about the grades of the students who are enrolled in a section. Gradebook help you compare performance of one student with other students. Gradebook also let you develop and maintain reliable and valid testing instruments and assignments for your section. If an academic override is done on an enrollment then the enrollment is marked with a lock in the Gradebook.

Note:

For Grading Strategy, if ‘No Grade’ is selected for an assignment then the score is displayed as -/- in the Gradebook view for those assignments. The assignments are also marked as ![](https://github.com/NexPort-Solutions/NexPort-Campus-Documentation/blob/gitbook/.gitbook/assets/No_Credit.png) (No Credit) icon.This is applicable for all types of assignments.
