# Duplicate a Section

##

You can copy or replicate a section for your own use and to give other instructors access to your section. Duplicating a section allows you to reuse it as is or modify the catalogs to which it belongs.

**To duplicate a section:**

1. Click **Administration** > **Manage Campus** > **Group Tools** > **Sections**.
2. The **Sections** page is displayed.

4. Click the ![](https://github.com/NexPort-Solutions/NexPort-Campus-Documentation/blob/gitbook/.gitbook/assets/Copy.png) icon, next to the section that you need to create a duplicate copy.
5. The **Copying \<SectionName>** page is displayed.

7. In the **Copying \<SectionName>** page, type the required information under the following tabs:
   1. **Required Information:** Type the new title, new training start time, section number, and a unique name for the section.
   2. **Instructors:** Select any users whom you need to serve as instructors. You can set a user as the primary instructor. You can delete a user from being an instructor.
   3. Note:
   4. Click the **username** link to view the user profile.

   6. **Catalogs:** Select current catalogs in which to include the new section.
   7. **Finish:** Click Create Copy to copy the section.
8. Click **Exit**.
9. The **Sections** page is displayed.
