# Rename an Organization or a Group

## **To rename an organization or group**

<mark style="color:blue;">**Step 1:**</mark> Click <mark style="color:blue;">**Administration**</mark> <mark style="color:blue;">></mark> <mark style="color:blue;">**Manage Campus**</mark>.

<mark style="color:blue;">**Step 2:**</mark> The <mark style="color:blue;">**Manage Campus**</mark> page is displayed.

<mark style="color:blue;">**Step 3:**</mark> In the upper left corner, click the unfold ![](/files/1qisO63YecHu3GPr3eZW) button.

<mark style="color:blue;">**Step 4:**</mark> A list of the existing organizations or groups is displayed.

<mark style="color:blue;">**Step 5:**</mark> Select the organization or a group that you need to rename.

<mark style="color:blue;">**Step 7:**</mark> The <mark style="color:blue;">**Edit**</mark> dialog box is displayed.\\

<mark style="color:blue;">**Step 8:**</mark> In the <mark style="color:blue;">**Name**</mark> box, type the name for the organization or a group.

<mark style="color:blue;">**Step 9:**</mark> In the <mark style="color:blue;">**Short Name**</mark> box, type the short name for the organization or a group.

<mark style="color:blue;">**Step 10:**</mark> In the <mark style="color:blue;">**Description**</mark>, type the description for renaming the organization or a group.

<mark style="color:blue;">**Step 11:**</mark> In the <mark style="color:blue;">**Membership**</mark> list, click <mark style="color:blue;">**All users must be added by an Admin**</mark> or <mark style="color:blue;">**Any user in the Organization may self join**</mark>.

<mark style="color:blue;">**Step 12:**</mark> Click <mark style="color:blue;">**Save**</mark>. The name of the organization or group is updated.
