You can work on assignments, take quizzes, and view your grades in the classroom. You must also be able to navigate through the classroom.
Sidebar menu button
Lists the assignments. Click to show or hide the list of assignments left aligned on the screen.
Leaving the classroom
Returns you to your selection of sections.
Gradebook
Displays the grades you have achieved in your completed assignments.
Section overview
Displays a brief description of the section and classes you are about to take.
Instructor profile
Displays some information on the primary instructor for your section. You can also view basic information and email your teacher.
Assignment listing and groupings
Assignment listing
This is the assignment listing. You can find all the assignments you must take throughout the course. Some assignments are highlighted in gray. These assignments require a previous assignment to be completed before unlocking. Hovering over the assignment tells you what assignments must be completed before proceeding.
Groupings
In some classrooms, you can find items called headers. These are groupings made by your instructor for certain assignments. You can click on headers to show or hide the assignments grouped together.
Assignment
The assignment highlighted in blue is your active assignment. It is the assignment you are currently working on. There are seven types of assignments: courseware, discussion, media, student input, surveys, tests, and writing.
Revisiting assignments
After you completed an assignment, you can come back to the assignment listing to select a new assignment to work on. Click on an available assignment that is ready to be worked on.
Assignment area
This is the area where you work on your assignment. The upper part in blue is the header where the status of your assignment and any instructions provided by your instructor are displayed. Underneath the header is the assignment on which you work. Some assignments such as courseware and tests have buttons to launch the attached items. Assignments such as discussion and writing have areas for you to type your thoughts and submit them for grading. Some assignments also provide grades in this area if you have taken the assignment previously.

Provides you with the option to change your language.
Classroom tour
Provides you with a quick tour of the classroom. You can click the button to access the tour.
