# Assign Role Permissions

There are two sections in the <mark style="color:blue;">**Select Permissions**</mark> area:

* <mark style="color:blue;">**Available**</mark><mark style="color:blue;">:</mark> This section lists the permission categories that are available.
* <mark style="color:blue;">**Allowed**</mark><mark style="color:blue;">:</mark> This section lists the permissions that are assigned for the role.

## **To assign role permission**

<mark style="color:blue;">**Step 1:**</mark> Click <mark style="color:blue;">**Administration**</mark> <mark style="color:blue;">></mark> <mark style="color:blue;">**Manage Campus**</mark> <mark style="color:blue;">></mark> <mark style="color:blue;">**Organization Tools**</mark> <mark style="color:blue;">></mark> <mark style="color:blue;">**Roles**</mark><mark style="color:blue;">.</mark> The <mark style="color:blue;">**Roles**</mark> page is displayed.

<mark style="color:blue;">**Step 2:**</mark> In the <mark style="color:blue;">**Roles**</mark> list, select a role to which you need to assign one or more permissions.

<mark style="color:blue;">**Step 4:**</mark> Click <mark style="color:blue;">**Save**</mark>. The permission is assigned to the role.
