Create a Dashboard

You can create a custom made dashboard to display your organization’s data.

To create a dashboard

Step 1: On the Analytics homepage, click Manage Dashboards.

The Dashboards Groups page is displayed.

Step 2: Select a group to view its dashboards.

Step 3: In the upper-right corner, click the icon.

The Create Dashboard dialog box is displayed.

Step 4: In the Name box, type a name for the dashboard.

Step 5: In the Description box, type a description related to the dashboard.

Step 6: In the Filtering area, click one of the following to control the filtering:

Option 1: If you click Dashboard, Analytics uses group restrictions defined in the dashboard to control the filtering.

Option 2: If you click NexPort, Analytics uses NexPort Campus permissions to control the filtering.

Option 3: If you click Inherited (NexPort/Dashboard), Analytics uses the inherited setting for filtering from a parent organization.

Step 7: In the Display area, click one of the following to view the dashboard widgets:

Option 1: Click List, to display the widget data in a list form.

Option 2: Click Grid, to display the widget data in a grid of chart types.

Option 3: Click Inherited (Grid/List), to display the widget data using the inherited setting for display from a parent organization.

Step 8: Click Save.

The new dashboard is saved.
